Edo 2020: Senator Alimikhena canvasses votes for APC, urges Edo North to punish Obaseki over school closure

The Senator representing Edo North Senatorial district, Francis Alimikhena, urged electorates in Edo State on Wednesday to elect Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress as the next Governor of the State.

He said the state needs to re-align with the Federal Government for a seamless collaboration that would engender growth and development, especially for rural residents who he said have not benefited from the Obaseki-administration.

Senator Francis Alimikhena was speaking at the APC campaign rally in Agenebode, Etsako East Local Council, where the candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and his running mate, Mallam Gani Audu, were joined by other leaders of the party including former Governor of the State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

The APC, according to Senator Alimikhena, is a party that stands for good governance and development and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has both the desire and ability to fix the errors of the incumbent administration and return the state back on the path of growth.

He lamented the closure of the College of Agriculture, Agenebode, by the Obaseki-administration and its general failure to record any achievement in Edo North, urging the residents of the senatorial district to punish the Governor’s incompetence and costly neglect by voting en masse for the APC on the 19th of September.

“We have a father in the person of President Muhammadu Buhari and he is doing well at the federal level and Edo needs to align with the federal government,” he said.
